We are looking to recruit an experienced data architect in our support centre in Milton Keynes. This role is pivotal in defining and maintaining the rules and standards for collecting, integrating, using, and managing data assets across the organization. The Data Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, data engineering, and analytics, to ensure data is treated as a valuable business asset, driving informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Proven experience in data architecture preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Prior experience working with a range of different databases.
  • Experience of architecting data solutions across hybrid (cloud, on-premise) data platforms.
  • Knowledge of data science platforms such as Azure Machine Learning, Amazon SageMaker, Databricks, DataRobot, Snowflake etc., to enable the use of data and tie in with roadmap aspirations.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, data integration, and data management principles and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
